Maryland-based IT firm Woodbourne Solutions to integrate Equilibrium MediaRich Image Server to Streamline the Production and Management of Images in Secure Web-based Environment
SAUSALITO, CA—JUNE 10, 2003—Equilibrium, a leading provider of rich-media servers for the enterprise, today announced that The Architect of the Capitol (http://www.aoc.gov/) has selected Equilibrium MediaRich® Image Server to dynamically update and manage images for the United States Capitol Complex, which includes the Capitol, the congressional office buildings, the Library of Congress buildings, the Supreme Court building, the U.S. Botanic Garden, the Capitol Power Plant and other facilities. By automating the online image production and delivery with Equilibrium MediaRich, Woodbourne Solutions will enhance business productivity and reduce maintenance costs for The Architect of the Capitol offices.
Equilibrium MediaRich is server-based media templating software that automates image production and enables the dynamic delivery of visual assets to the Web, wireless and print media. Woodbourne Solutions will integrate the open-architecture of MediaRich Image Server with Oracle Corp.'s Oracle9i Database and the office's existing PaperThin, Inc.'s CommonSpot™ Content Management Server framework to provide online browsing and ordering of photographs using a lightbox interface.
