(NASDAQ: MSFT), has selected MediaRich™ Image Server to extend the functionality of Microsoft Commerce Server 2002, Content Management Server and SharePoint Portal Server for Xbox.com, the online environment for the Xbox™ video game system from Microsoft. The dynamic imaging integration dramatically reduces the time required to create, modify, manage and deploy digital images and video assets for Xbox.com.
Equilibrium® MediaRich is server-based software that automates image production and enables the dynamic delivery of visual assets to the Web, print media and smart devices. By integrating the templating features of MediaRich Image Server with Microsoft Commerce Server 2002, Content Management Server and SharePoint Portal Server, the Xbox.com team at Microsoft will be able to streamline production workflow as they manage, deploy and store graphical and video content for Xbox.com from one central infrastructure.
