CLEAR CHANNEL INTERACTIVE SELECTS EQUILIBRIUM MEDIARICH IMAGING TECHNOLOGY FOR ITS AFFILIATE WEB SITES
San Rafael, Calif. June 4, 2001 - Equilibrium, a leading Internet infrastructure company and majority-owned operating company of CMGI, Inc. (NASDAQ: CMGI), today announced that Clear Channel Interactive, a division of Clear Channel Communications, Inc. (NYSE: CCU), has selected MediaRich to automate the creation and delivery of images to its Internet network, which includes more than 1,000 local entertainment Web sites. MediaRich will streamline Clear Channel Interactive's image production process giving each affiliate radio station the ability to create its own unique web identity on a more frequent basis rather than on a quarterly or semi-annual basis.
MediaRich is a fully automated image production system. MediaRich changes the way image assets are prepared and deployed by having all of the editing, optimization, and delivery occur at the server-level, saving valuable time and labor resources. With the power of MediaRich, Clear Channel Interactive will be able to set up templates to rapidly perform all of the image processing functions normally done off-line by a team of resources. As a result, projects that once took weeks or months can now be accomplished in minutes or days.
